Inspired by the patterns found in the excavations of the 3,000-year-old Laodikeia Ancient City, the Laodikeia and Its Symbols collection consists of natural stone reliefs. The modules, mainly measuring 60 x 120 cm, with additional sizes of 60 x 60 cm and 30 x 60 cm, allow you to roam freely in the ancient city. The harmony of the patterns with each other in the modules creates a truly unique and captivating experience.
The production process involves cutting natural stone slabs into module dimensions using high-precision 5-axis CNC machines. The patterns are then carved on 3-axis CNC machines, and the carved natural stone is meticulously polished by skilled stone artisans. This combination of high technology machinery and handwork ensures the highest quality and attention to detail.
With the Laodikeia and Its Symbols collection, you have the freedom to design your own space like a jigsaw puzzle. By choosing the modules that resonate with you, you can create a design that reflects your personal style and preferences. The collection offers endless possibilities for customization and allows you to bring the spirit of the ancient city into your own home.
The design process for the collection began in December 2021 in Denizli and Istanbul. Over the course of three months, the module designs were carefully crafted, drawing inspiration from the patterns and soul of the ancient Laodikeia City. The collection was officially introduced at the Izmir Marble Fair on March 30, 2022, and a launch presentation was held at the Space event at Zorlu AVM on May 10-11, 2022.
The Laodikeia and Its Symbols collection has received recognition for its exceptional design. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Building Materials and Construction Components Design category in 2023. This prestigious award is given to designs that are well-designed, practical, and innovative, meeting professional and industrial requirements. The collection is respected for its integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, providing fulfillment and positive feelings while contributing to a better world.
